DESIGN AUTOMATION CONFERENCE

The board of the Design Automation Conference (DAC) requested a website redesign to inform visitors about this major industry event. This content-heavy website would serve as a registration destination, a schedule of events, and knowledge library for each of the sub-tracks of the design automation industry.

Solution - Input from stakeholders and attendees combined with website traffic analytics, revealed the key website destinations for attendees. Navigation and messaging was organized accordingly, then implemented into a clean, modular responsive design (RWD). This modular design allowed large amounts of content specific to sub-industry tracks to be easily located. It also made the website extensible beyond the current year as content and contributors continue to grow.

Results - The newly design DAC website was well-received by the DAC board and conference attendees, partners and sponsors, with increased traffic across all sections of the website over previous years'. The RWD aspect of the site was a major benefit as it made content needed while at the event – such as schedules and speaker information – readily available over mobile devices.
